WNC Best - ABA Services
Ages up to 5 years
Intensive Intervention (30 or more hours per week) based on principles of behavior analysis. Includes training of your family, a hired team, and related professionals.
Individualized curriculum addresses skills in the areas of:
- Language and Speech
- Cognitive/Academic Goals
- Social Skills
- Self-help Skills
Expected length of treatment averages 2 years in home, community and school settings.
Ages 6 to 10 years
Family Training (10 hours/month) based on principles of applied behavior analysis.
Family training includes in-home and community based teaching to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorders gain consistency with behavior, language and speech skills, cognitive/academic goals, social, and self-help skills.
WNC BEST will provide family members with tools that can best support positive behavior change.
Expected length of treatment will vary according to child and family needs.
Group Training
The staff of WNC BEST will provide training seminars to groups of 3 or more people with a focus on helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Topics include:
- Functional Analysis and Behavior Management
- Acquiring Functional Communication Skills
- Peer and Social Interaction Skills
- Community Inclusion
- How to Shape Skills
- Motivation and Reinforcement
